DOGUE Group

DOGUE was created in 1998 by Simone Kingston. Her vision was to bring the world of Canine Couture to Australia and create the world’s first dog brand.

Inspired by her dog Gulliver, a stylish boutique was opened that catered to every dog’s whim. With its own designer doggie label and a focus on pet fashion, DOGUE was fresh and sophisticated, offering something new in the pet industry that created overwhelming excitement amongst Sydney’s well-heeled dog owners.

In April 2005, Margaret Hennessy, formerly a Management Consultant but always an avid dog lover,  joined DOGUE with a vision to expand DOGUE into new product and service areas and to grow the store network. With an incredible passion for the brand and strong motivation, Margaret as CEO has made DOGUE a successful and prominent business, and Australia’s leading boutique dog retailer and service provider.
