What started as a small idea quickly grew into a successful and fully fledged business operation, as founders Shane and Kirstee set about to rectify a big problem in the building industry.
Before starting Goop Guys Shane and Kirstee owned a builders cleaning company called Dustbusters QLD. This is where they saw first-hand that surfaces like windows, window frames, bathtubs, benchtops and flooring, were being scratched and damaged during the construction process using conventional methods of protection.
Realising that the building industry was dealing with the expensive problem of having to replace premium surfaces, they decided there had to be a better way, and they set about creating a commercial grade surface protection system.
